基本句型有五种：

　　1.主语+谓语

　　2.主语+谓语+宾语

　　3.主语+系动词+表语

　　4.主语+谓语+间接宾语+直接宾语

　　5.主语+谓语+宾语+宾语补足语

　　(1)找句子当中的谓语动词

　　(2)找到说明的主语

　　二、句子切分

　　句子切分即把句子进行简化。原则如下：

　　(1)主干与修饰成分要分开

　　(2)主句与从句要分开

　　(3)并列成分要分开

　　(4)不定式的符号要分

　　(5)过去分词和现在分词要分开

　　(6)用标点符号进行拆分

　　例句：Social science is that branch of intellectual enquiry /which seeks to study humans and their endeavors /in the same reasoned,orderly,systematic,and dispassioned /manner that natural scientists use for the study of natural phenomena.

　　三、词义推敲

　　词义推敲即根据上下文，判断意向。

　　四、组合

　　在英语里有许多的被动句，而汉语当中被动句比较少，主动句比较多，根据这样一个特点我们把句子进行调整。

　　例句：Social science is that branch of intellectual enquiry which seeks to study humans and their endeavors in the same reasoned,orderly,systematic,and dispassioned manner that natural scientists use for the study of natural phenomena.

　　社会科学是知识探索的一个分支，它力图象自然科学家研究自然现象那样，用理性的、有序的、系统的和冷静的方式研究人类及其行为。
